Welcome to Vignette Booth! What started as a late-night passion project has blossomed into this cozy digital studio. We built this platform completely for fun (and for free) because we deeply missed the authentic, slightly unpolished charm of old-school photobooths. We wanted everyone to experience that nostalgia right from their browsers—no sign-ups, no apps to download, and no hidden fees.

How do I use this site?
- Pick your format: Choose from classic strips or our premium Passport layout.
- Allow access: Grant camera permissions when your browser asks.
- Strike a pose: You'll get a short countdown before every flash.
- Review: Not feeling it? Hit "Retake Session".
- Customize: Once you're happy, hit the Digital Studio to change frame colors, cut your photos into fun shapes (like hearts or ovals), and add vintage stickers.
- Keep it forever: Click "Download Result" to save your high-res masterpiece!
Can I use this on my phone?
Absolutely! Vignette Booth is fully optimized for all devices. Whether you're on a desktop monitor or an iPhone in portrait mode, the booth adapts to fit your screen perfectly.
What can I customize on my photo strip?
You have full creative control in our Digital Studio. You can swap the background for solid vintage colors or textured paper patterns, crop your photos into classic rectangles, rounded edges, circles, or hearts, and decorate your strip with aesthetic digital stickers.
Can I choose my preferred layout?
Yes! We offer multiple formats: the quick 2-pose Duo Strip, the Classic 3-pose, the Standard 4-pose, a 6-pose Mini Film, and our special Passport ID layout where you can even digitally draw your own signature!
Why is the screen black even after allowing camera access?
Sometimes browsers get a little overly protective. Make sure to check your device settings (e.g., Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera) and ensure "Let apps access your camera" is explicitly turned on for your specific web browser.
Do you store my photos or steal my data?
Not even a single pixel! We value your privacy. Everything happens locally right inside your own browser. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers or saved anywhere. Once you close the tab, the photos are gone unless you saved them. Your memories are 100% yours.
